At Inspect For You, we strive to deliver high-quality inspection services and customer satisfaction. Our refund policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds, re-inspections, or credits may be issued.

🔄 Cancellations or Rescheduling Before Inspection Day

  • If you cancel or reschedule your inspection at least 2 hours before the scheduled time, you are entitled to a full refund.

  • Cancellations or rescheduling made less than 2 hours prior are non-refundable and will require full payment of an additional fee to book a new time.

🚫 Failed or Incomplete Inspections

  • If we are unable to complete the inspection due to unforeseen circumstances or access issues (e.g. locked property, last-minute cancellation by agent), you will be offered either:

    • A full refund, or

    • A reschedule at no additional cost (subject to availability).

  • However, if the inspection cannot proceed because the agent, landlord, or selling agent fails to attend or provide access, no refund will be issued, and the booking must be rescheduled at full cost.

😕 Dissatisfaction with Service

  • If you are unsatisfied with the inspection or report, please notify us within 7 days of delivery.

  • We will review your concerns and, if appropriate, may offer:

    • A partial or full refund, or

    • A complimentary re-inspection.

  • Any such offer is made as a gesture of goodwill and does not constitute an admission of liability.

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days and returned to your original payment method.

By booking an inspection with Inspect For You, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read carefully before proceeding.

1. Services Provided

Inspect For You offers in-person property inspections for renters, buyers, landlords, and other stakeholders. Services may include photographs, video walk-throughs, summary notes, or full written reports, depending on the selected package.

Important: We conduct visual inspections only. We are not licensed building inspectors, valuers, pest inspectors, or legal advisors.

2. Properties for Sale

When inspecting a property listed for sale:

  • Our reports provide general visual observations only.

  • We do not assess building condition, safety compliance, pest damage, or property value.

  • We do not provide legal, financial, or purchasing advice.

  • Clients are advised to obtain independent professional inspections before making purchase decisions.

3. Booking and Payment

  • All inspections must be booked in advance via our website.

  • Payment is required in full at the time of booking.

  • Standard pricing begins at $89, with additional fees for advanced packages or rescheduling.

  • All cancellations and refunds are subject to our Refund Policy.

4. Inspection Process

  • Our inspectors conduct a visual assessment of the property as presented during the scheduled time.

  • We do not move furniture, open locked areas, or access spaces that are restricted or unsafe.

  • If the agent or representative fails to grant access, the inspection will be cancelled and rescheduling will require full payment.

5. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide correct booking information and contact details.

  • Clearly communicate any specific inspection instructions.

  • Notify the real estate agent or landlord that Inspect For You will attend the inspection on your behalf.

  • Ensure access to the property is arranged and confirmed.

  • Promptly communicate any changes, delays, or cancellations from the agent or property manager.

6. Delivery of Reports

  • Reports are delivered by email to the address provided at booking.

  • Inspect For You is not liable for delays caused by email issues, technical faults, or third-party scheduling.

7. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

  • Our inspections are visual-only and based on the property’s condition at the time of access.

  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, safety, or completeness of the information gathered.

  • Clients are responsible for seeking specialist advice where required (e.g. legal, structural, environmental, or valuation).

  • Inspect For You accepts no responsibility or liability for:

    • Any decisions made based on our reports

    • Omissions of issues not visible or disclosed during the inspection

    • Financial losses, tenancy disputes, or contractual outcomes

Limitation of Liability:
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from any claim (in contract, negligence, or otherwise) is limited to the amount paid for the relevant inspection service.

8. Amendments to Terms

Inspect For You reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
